Meet the Host of Sow37

Hi, my name is Robin.

I came to faith in Jesus at age 21. It was an amazing heart experience. However, not only was I not discipled for it, I failed of myself to give Jesus access to the rest of my life. This church neglect and my personal failure resulted in a string of poor choices and bad consequences, which culminated in a deep spiritual crisis.

Out of an overwhelming desperation for God I began a long, painful 5 year journey to figure things out. Yet, although I was unaware of it at the time, I was finally learning to think. As my mind increased, learning piece by piece what to believe and why I should believe it, my heart was slowly finding new confidence in the gospel and word of God. In retrospect, I realize I lacked a full scope of gospel-centered truth for all of my life.

By God’s grace, I eventually came to a place of seeing something of the wondrous breadth of the biblical storyline, the centrality of the gospel, and the Spirit’s intention and mission to continually transform my whole life so as to bring everything about me under the loving lordship of Jesus. I knew that was what I wanted. It was in this time God renewed me beyond what I knew before—heart, mind, and life together—and I put my hand to the plough.

From my experience Sow37 was birthed.
